This year’s Jornada LTER Desert Ecology Short-Course took place as a virtual event from July 13-15th, 2020 and was well-attended by graduate students and Jornada researchers. This year’s short-course included many exciting and informative sessions such as student presentations, PI lightning talks, geological and geomorphological virtual field tours, discussions on diversity, equity, and inclusion, data management workshops, and a data jam. Many of the materials presented are available below. Thank you to all participants and presenters who made this event such a success!
The short-course is an annual event and next year’s will take place beginning-mid July 2021. It is open to students, Jornada researchers, and all others interested in southwest dryland ecology (while spaces last).
