Samuel Jordan
Sam is a PhD student in the Sala lab at Arizona State University. Sam studies how climate, soil water, and disturbance control plant diversity and functional type abundance in dryland plant communities. With his PI Dr. Osvaldo Sala, Sam leads a new multi-year manipulative experiment on the Jornada Experimental Range to examine the interactions of both drought and disturbance control productivity and nutrient cycling in the Chihuahuan desert.
